MODULE / AI

Designing furniture with AI

Type "add a 60 cm base unit with three drawers". MobiCAM shows you what it is going to do, you approve it, and then it does it. Nothing you did not approve reaches the drawing.

01 / FOUR JOBS

It does four things, and does all four well

Not an unbounded assistant. What it can do is countable, and that is exactly why what it does is predictable.

It adds

"Add two 80 cm glazed wall units." Built with its size, its front and its handle.

It edits

"Make this one 80." It <em>changes</em> the existing cabinet — it does not delete and rebuild, so your settings stay.

It lays out a kitchen

"Put a U-shaped kitchen in this room." Runs, worktop and appliances at once.

It removes

"Delete the tall unit in the corner." It shows you what it will remove first.

02 / ONE SENTENCE

The sentence you write, and the work the program reads out of it

YOU TYPE THIS

add a 60 cm three-drawer base unit

THIS IS ALL THE MODEL CAN ANSWER WITH

Nine fields, all nine required — the model has none it can leave blank. What your sentence does not say it does not invent; it fills from the Turkish workshop standard: 720 carcass, 560 deep, 100 legs. Those nine numbers then go through the same code as a cabinet <em>you</em> built in the wizard.

03 / THE GUARANTEE

A cabinet the AI built is the same as one you built

That is not an analogy but a structural fact: every cabinet the model proposes goes through <em>the same code</em> as one you built in the wizard. There is no separate "AI cabinet". So there is no difference on the cut list, the banding, the G-code or the price — because there is nowhere for a difference to be.

  • The model returns a schema derived from the program's own types, not free text
  • An answer that does not fit the schema is never applied
  • Every change is a single undo step
  • It draws what will happen before applying it

THE AI PANEL SCREENSHOT HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN YET. THIS FRAME WILL FILL WHEN THE REAL SCREEN IS CAPTURED.

04 / THE KEY

You use your own key

MobiCAM does not sit in the middle: you enter the key in Settings and the request goes straight to the provider. If you never use it, the program works exactly as it did before — the AI is an addition, not a condition.

  • The key stays on your computer and is never sent to us
  • With no key the panel is closed and nothing else changes
  • You write in Turkish and it understands Turkish

05 / HONESTY

Where this stands today

STATUS

This is written and it runs inside the program; but it has not yet been tried widely against a real model. Whether a given sentence turns into the right operation is something we will learn as it gets used. What you tell us matters — if it does something other than what you expected, write to us.

LIMIT

A sentence says <em>what</em> to build, not <em>where</em> to put it. A new cabinet is always added at the right-hand end of what is already drawn; a location — "to the left of the hob" — is not read. Its size, its front and its handle arrive as you asked and you move it yourself — and moving a cabinet is a single undo step anyway.
